Hiya! I'm Julie Alexandres and I love to write about things that go bump in the night. I'm a born and raised Texas gal, and no matter where I travel, I always carry Texas with me! I'm married and have a son. My husband, son, and I share a home with our cat who graciously allows us to live with him.
Before I started writing, I was in the accounting field. I got married and after becoming a military wife, I've held almost every office job out there. I've worked in police departments, retail stores, government offices, call centers, and school districts around the U.S.
I have a deep love and passion for anything supernatural: sorcery, vampires, shapeshifters, werewolves, and everything in between. Plus, if it's pink, fluffy, or cute, I'm going to find a way to take it home. I also love to laugh and refuse to write/read/watch anything that doesn't have a happy ending.
My favorite authors are J.R.R. Tolkien, Shakespeare, Jane Austen, and Jeanine Frost. My favorite male character ever written is Charlaine Harris' sexy vampire, Eric Northman, with Tolkien's Aragorn a close second. My favorite female character is Margaret Mitchell's Scarlett O'Hara and Shakespeare's Viola from Twelfth Night a close second.
When I'm not writing, I enjoy reading, watching movies, blogging, creating on Photoshop, and inventing new dishes in the kitchen in order to prolong my trip to the grocery store.
